In 1997, TMM has acquired a new industrial complex, which counts
among the most imposing ones in the country. The 26 000 square
meters of covered area are divided into two distinct production
units:
- The
tannery for the treatment of calfskins and cowhides.
- The
tawery for the treatment of sheepskins and goatskins.
These
2 units are fitted with the most up-to-date equipment, with a
total monthly production capacity of approximately 3 000 000
square feet and a great variety of items. These items are intended
for the garment industry, foot-ware, leatherwork and furnishings,
and are marketed in the main leather markets: Europe, Asia, North
America, South America…
Concerned with the need to support a reliable quality policy, TMM uses a quality management system, that is certified ISO
9002.
Aware of the importance of the environmental aspect and of the
need to protect the environment, TMM is fitted with a large capacity
treatment plant intended for the treatment of residual waters using
the physical, chemical and biological processes.
